As part of Accessibility Week, we're excited to offer a Sensory Friendly Swim on Wednesday, June 3 from 6:15–7:15 PM.

This special swim provides a quieter, less crowded aquatic environment for individuals with sensory sensitivities and their caregivers or family members. Features include reduced sensory stimulation, no music, sensory-friendly toys, and volunteer support in the water.

Please note that the regularly scheduled Lap Swim and Open Swim during this time will be cancelled to accommodate this event. The adult swim and adult swimming lessons will run as scheduled.

Registration is limited to 50 participants plus caregivers/family members. We appreciate the community's support as we work to create inclusive recreation opportunities for all.

We’re excited to offer a calm, welcoming swim experience designed for individuals with sensory sensitivities and their families/caregivers.

• Exclusive access for registered participants only
• Reduced noise and sensory stimulation
• No music during the swim
• Sensory-friendly toys available
• Volunteer staff in the water to support participation
• Less crowded change rooms with early clearing before the event

Please Note:

The pool will be closed for all public programming on Saturday May 30 & Sunday May 31 due to our Timmins Marlins hosting the yearly Fred Rams Swim Meet.

We will also be closed the Monday morning of June 1 until 11:30am and will open for the open swim at 11:45am.
