Our Mid Winter Classic, held on February 7th, 2026 was a great success! Thanks to all of our members who made it a wonderful day of good food, fun times and of course some great squash. Congratulations to our 2026 Mid Winter Classic champion, Clifford Laming and our consolation champion, Aarin Freeborn!

Highlights from the 2025 Rust Remover Tournament!

The 2025 Rust Remover Tournament was our best yet.

With 15 competitors, it was our largest group in a single day tournament, all due to the ability to use 2 squash courts (thanks to Northern College).

There were 2 round robin boxes played throughout the day, with the top 2 players from each advancing to the semi-finals.

In the end, Cliff Laming defeated Chris Duguay in the final. Congratulations Cliff!

Huge congratulations to Luke Laming of St. Mary's Secondary School for his outstanding win at the LGSSAA junior tennis championships! This is a tremendous achievement for Luke, showcasing his incredible skill, dedication, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament. Your hard work has paid off, and the entire St. Mary's community is cheering for you!
What's Next for Luke?
This LGSSAA title is just the beginning. Luke has now qualified to represent our area at the EOSSAA (Eastern Ontario Secondary Schools Athletic Association) championships. He will face off against the top junior players from across the wider Eastern Ontario region, vying for a chance to advance to the provincial level.
Stay tuned for updates on Luke's progress as he continues his journey toward a regional title! We'll be following his every match and cheering him on to victory.

2025 Timmins Junior Championships

Beginners League has been rescheduled to Thursday evening, August 14th. Same time and place (Del Villano Park).

Another soggy Monday evening, we will look to reschedule our Beginners Night to later this week.

No Beginners Night tonight! Due to the long weekend and many of our coaches on well deserved vacation, Beginners Night will resume next week.🎾
