Now that a few days have past since we closed our doors at The Working Class, we would like to take a few moments to close things off with a huge THANK YOU. We must start by thanking all the people who have made TWC possible.

Thank you to all of our amazing staff over the years , Joel Dumas , Kaitlin Senkus, Kristina Senkus, Krista Cecconi, Sydney Boivin, Sarah Janson, Stephane Cloutier, Celine Devins, Kaylee Morisette, Sylvie Desjardins, Eric Letourneau, Lance Mills, Ritchie Caron, Corey McGee, Bobby Allen, Ashley Boucher, Keisha Mills, Ashely Morisette (I'm sure there may be a few more, oops.). Thank you to all the bands and comedians who took the stage. Special thank you to Rick Lemieux and Richard Steudle who have really developed the comedy scene here in Timmins , sky is the limit for our local comedians and we all owe these two gentlemen a huge debt of gratitude. Thank you to all the bands, promoters, customers and companies who have rented our establishment over the years to celebrate their special moments with us. We have been honoured to be part of your birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, retirements and everything in between which required a toast. Thank you to members of our pool / billiards league along with the people behind the scenes who have helped organize the league, Aline Constantin, Stephane Cloutier, Dan Schaffer. Special thank you to our brothers and sisters in Timmins Festivals and Events Committee who will continue to bring the best live entertainment to our city. Huge thank you to our best friend Skoser Merch for always having our back, we appologize if we have forgotten anyone.

Over the past 4 years during our run at The Working Class , we are beyond proud of many of our accomplishments. We are most proud of the fundraisers we have hosted. Making a difference by helping individuals and organizations in the community, this is something we will carry with us for a lifetime as we are all in this together.

With over 300 bands that have hit the stage , our legacy has been solidified here in Timmins. Without the support of you all, none of this would be possible.

Everytime I Die, Comeback Kid, Cancer Bats, The Flatliners, The Black Dahlia Murder, Bigwig, Silverstein, Madchild, A Wilhelm Scream, Seaway, Dayglo Abortions, Soulfly, Protest The Hero, SNFU, The Creepshow and many , many more can attest to how amazing of a music scene we have here in Timmins.

As we close this chapter, we encourage all to continue supporting the arts and entertainment here in Timmins.
