The GT-NHL is launching an exclusive Full Ice Elite Novice Hockey Experience for players born between 2014-2016. The league will be running 4 divisions; Novice AAA, Novice AA and Novice A as well as a Super Tyke League for players born in 2015/2016. There will be a maximum of 20 teams in each division, so there is very limited space for the 2022/2023 season. Full teams and single players can register!

The GT-NHL is launching an exclusive Full Ice Elite Novice Hockey Experience for players born between 2014-2016. The league will consist of a minimum of 30 FULL ICE GAMES per team. The games will only be played on weekends in both Showcase and Tournament formats; Showcases do not have championships, Tournaments have playoffs and championships. Teams will register for their requested division, but all teams will be evaluated at a pre-season tournament and will be placed in the appropriate divisions based on the skill level of the team. Teams will be responsible for their own practice and development ice times as we will have teams that will be travelling large distances to play in these events.

Why is the league needed? There is a huge demand for Full Ice and Competitive Rep Hockey within these age groups. Hockey Canada has removed all AAA, AA and A programs from these age groups, and have decided to push forward with cross ice hockey for the ability to put more players on a single ice surface vs full ice hockey. We believe that Elite Players at this age are ready to take their game to the next level and we look forward to providing these players and the coaches with an amazing experience to help develop the future Elite Hockey Players in the GTA!

Location? Weekend events will be played in Etobicoke, Brampton, Hamilton, Stoney Creek, Niagara, and London area’s.
