After 42 years in Toronto it’s time for a change!
Tons of gratitude over the last 17years of being a Strength Coach, TCM practitioner, educator, online influencer and gym owner.
The last few years opening the at the beginning of the pandemic has been the most successful and transformative time I’ve experienced. I will forever hold that experience in my heart. All the amazing clients, workouts and opportunity to support my community has been incredible. 🙏🙏🙏
I’ve feel like I’ve developed this part of myself to my satisfaction and am looking forward to new business endeavours and connections as we move our family out west to Canmore Alberta! 🏔️
Stay tuned as I pivot my online position to include more of my life in how it relates to fitness, longevity and exploring the dream I continue to pursue… now as the Unbound Athlete in the mountains. 💪🏔️

NATURAL ELEMENT
Spent this last week in a tiny house with the family away from the big city.
Regardless of it being a small space there is such a majestic connection to nature.
I’m passionate about my work so I was clear to myself that this was not an escape from work but a recalibration to space and silence.
To me this is an integrate part of life. My NATURAL ELEMENT, where I feel the most in balance and connected to who I am.
Keeping that connection alive is important so I don’t get lost and then have to escape!
What gets you back into your natural element?

Most of the issues I see in squats is in the bottom position. If you’re off in the bottom there’s a good chance your journey on up will be compromised.
There’s a fear factor. A real test. Also a need to address biomechanics in order to achieve full depth.

1. STRETCH THOSE CALVES (weighted and standing)
2. ELEVATE THE HEELS (shortens the calf muscle making it easier to get deeper)
3. PAUSED SQUATS (min 3sec pause to release the stretch reflex and to just spend some quality time in the hole!)
