Throwback Thursday!!!
The day I joined the 300lb Club!! 303lb Deadlift!
Success can only be achieved after failure! Never give up!
I have to admit that this has been a a rather tough year β¦ between putting powerlifting on hold for the year while I deal with a few nagging injuries, entering this wonderful world of perimenopause (thank you Mother Nature), and the sale of our condo so that we can get ready for the next big stage of our lives β¦ here we come!!! π²π½ π΄
Had it not been for the support of all my family and friends, this would have been a tougher year than it turned out to be!
With injuries staying at bay, for now π«£ and a rekindled relationship with powerlifting (thanks to these amazing women .abee )I thought it perfect to remind myself where I came from and all the amazing accomplishments I still have ahead of me!!

Honestly β¦ today was a bit of a struggle! A full day of client sessions after a pretty crapy sleep π€ͺ These are the days that you canβt rely on motivation, but rather turn to discipline!

Over the past couple of years I have had the pleasure of beginning this fun journey that us women get to go through π€ͺπ€ͺ And β¦ if truth be told I started to let it kick my butt a bit π«£π«£π«£
I started to skip my workouts, fall back into old habits of poor nutritional choices , and even had to put a pause on my for now β¦ shocker β¦ Iβm human just like you! π€« π€«π€«
Over the past few months Iβve managed to slowly pull myself out of this slump I was stuck in and get back to my usual routine πͺπ» π₯ π«Άπ»
Now itβs time to push myself a little further and get beach body ready baby! Yes β¦ even us trainers go on a little vacation cut to get ready!! π¬π¬π¬
