MONDAY MADNESS WITH REBECCA CUTLER 💪🏻
Introducing Monday Madness - the newest addition to our evening class line-up. The one and only Rebecca Cutler leads this challenging class every Monday from 6:30-7:15 PM. Rebecca will set the tone for your week with a class designed with efficiency in mind. A full-body high intensity strength workout - with a sprinkling of cardio - will be followed by a lovely cool down and total body stretch routine. Every week will be a different adventure. Think circuits, pyramids, intervals and ladders. And then breathe! And no, Jean-Marc will not be there! Email us at [email protected] to try your first class for free!

New year, new ways to get your kicks! Starting Thursday, January 4 at 7PM we have an exciting addition to our regular class schedule. Smash Kickboxing - learn the fundamentals of boxing and kickboxing with qualified instructor, Dan Caron. The classes are every Thursday evening and are part of our regular class schedule. Well, it’s taken a while but it is finally up - Brookdale Fitness Club has a giant name tag now! Thanks to everyone who has helped us get this far - we are only getting started. Personal training, group fitness classes, RMT, this week we start yoga and in the next week or so, boxing classes. Throw in some wellness coaching and we’ve got a little bit of everything for everyone. See you at the Brookdale.

If you squint can you see down there teaching an early morning class or are you a bit distracted by yet another surreal sunrise?!?! Anyway, Pam teaches a banger of a class (featuring the new tank) and also gives a helluva good massage so if you want a little self care either get in touch or look out the window and enjoy the view.

We are always trying to level up our skills at the Brookdale to most effectively help our clients achieve their health and wellness goals. Congratulations to Margaret and Pam who spent the last few months becoming Certified Women’s Coaching Specialists. Pam and Margaret have been putting their skills to work this summer, teaming up to help a client achieve one of the most impactful wellness transformations I’ve seen. Pam has offered her expert training skills in the gym and Margaret has provided compassionate lifestyle coaching to this individual - a dream team - whose client’s successes have exceeded all expectations, including her own. Congratulations to all three! And welcome back to the gym, Margaret.

We are so excited to introduce you to the newest member of the Brookdale Fitness Club team. Meet Rob Hunter. Rob is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Growing up in Toronto, Rob played AAA hockey and box/field lacrosse. His passion for athletics led him to earn a Division 1 lacrosse scholarship to Siena College in NY.
Years of competitive contact sports led him to his fair share in injuries and mobility issues. Since getting into the fitness industry he has focused on using weight training to increase mobility, reduce pain and improve performance. He values proper technique and using weight training to create positive change in his clients lives.
Rob now blends his two perspectives of massage therapy and personal training to get his clients moving pain free and doing the activities they love most. He creates a fun, educational and safe environment for his clients to improve themselves.
He also works with youth athletes looking to take their sport to the next level. Currently he is training several hockey and lacrosse players, but has experience with a wide range of other sports. Proper weight training at the youth level is critical in preventing injuries and creating a well-rounded athlete. When you’re next in the gym, please join us in giving Rob a warm welcome!
