is a global movement launched by Conscious Planet to reverse soil extinction by bringing together people from around the world and supporting the worldโs governments to institute soil friendly policies towards increasing the organic content in cultivable soil. This is for us and our children to have a better future.
Why on - There is no nutritious food without rich soil. This is my effort to raise awareness about current state of our soil.

!! The magical season of growth, abundance, and life. The sun is bright, the air is fresh and the days are longer. Everyone seems to be in a good mood. It sure does put me in a good mood. Spring brings food bursting with ripe flavors and textures. Relish in these 8 spring foods this season and enjoy the flavors.
Seasonal food is the best food to ensure proper nutrient absorption. What grows in the season is what the body loves to consume. So donโt miss out on adding these foods to your diet.

This is ๐ฏ true and many of us donโt realize this is how industries function.
For majority of food companies the intention behind creating a processed food is for people to get addicted to the product and buy it as much as possible.
Thatโs the reason thereโs too much sugar and salt in processed food. There donโt even spare childrenโs food from it.
Youโll be surprised to see how much sugar is in childrenโs breakfast products offered by many brands.
Itโs extremely important to read the list of ingredients before buying any product.
And when we suffer from chronic health conditions and approach a doctor what do we get? A pill. A pill for every problem. ๐
But we should be aware that medicines donโt heal. They just manage symptoms so these symptoms donโt bother us anymore.
Although a great saviour in emergency situations medication doesnโt help much in treating the underlying root cause of a health condition.
Why is a chronic condition caused in the first place? Why will our bodyโs go against us? Solely because we are not living right. We are not keeping the body happy.
So the only way to correct chronic conditions is making changes in the way we live. We have to live in a health promoting way not in a disease promoting way.
That is the only way to eliminate the root cause of 90% of chronic health conditions. By

(1/2) Have you heard of seed cycling??
This is a hormone supporting practice. Womenโs hormones are a complex endocrine system that functions in a delicate balance.
These hormones are greatly influenced by our diet, physical activity, sleep, stress levels, environmental toxins, and staying indoors for a very long time. This means that any of these factors can throw our hormones out of that delicate balance.
In turn, a slight hormone imbalance can become the underlying issue for a number of health concerns, including irregular periods, acne, PCOS, thyroid disorders, and chronic fatigue.
Seed cycling is one of the easiest ways to support hormones in a gentle way.
The first 14 days of your menstrual cycle makes up the follicular phase, while the following 14 days make up the luteal phase. When your hormone levels are balanced, estrogen rises during the first half of your cycle whereas progesterone levels rise (while estrogen levels slowly decline) during the second half of your cycle. An imbalance between estrogen and progesterone can contribute to PMS symptoms, acne, and irregular cycles.
Hereโs how to follow seed cycling
Days 1-14 of your cycle (Menstruation to ovulation)
๐ 1-2 tablespoons flax seeds
๐ 1-2 tablespoons pumpkin seeds
Days 15-28 of your cycle (ovulation to menstruation)
๐ 1-2 tablespoons sunflower seeds
๐ 1-2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Growing up I would often hear people telling other people โBe careful. Your dad has diabetes you might also get it or your Mum has BP you might also get it.โ I would think to myself okay, that makes sense, since all the genes are passed down from the parents maybe the diseases are also passed down from the parents.
On the other I had also noticed that some people were completely healthy even though their parents were suffering from many chronic ailments. And thatโs where my confusion began. Why is it that some people seem to be bothered by the same disease their parents had but other people had completely healthy and happy lives. This confusion was left in the back of my head until one of modules in covered the topic of Gene Expression. And just like that all my confusion was cleared.

Yes, it is definitely true that we may be more predisposed to certain illnesses because of our genes and it is helpful to be aware of our genetic predispositions. ๐ฅฆ Vegetables are very less in calories and very high in nutrition. Increasing your vegetable intake is a great solution for people who want to lose weight.
๐ฅ Vegetables are a great source of Dietary Fibre too. Fibre makes us feel full and most importantly pulls out all the undigested nasty stuff from our GUT!
๐ซ Vegetables contain which are the chemicals that give vegetables their color. Plants produce these chemicals to stay healthy but they are extremely beneficial to us too. We should include vegetables of all colours in our diet. ๐

Whenever we are faced with stressful situations the biggest weapon we have with us is to change the way we look at a particular situation ๐ซ. Letโs say for example your boss hates you. Instead of thinking โOh my god! My boss hates me what do I doโ. Say to yourself โMaybe my boss hates me but I am doing my bestโ. Or instead of โoh my god I have too many things to do how can I possibly do all thatโ say to yourself โI will do everything I possibly canโ. Can you see how there is an immediate sense of relief when you change the way you look at a situation? Try it in any situation you face with! Just change the way you perceive stressful situations and enjoy the feeling of relief and empowerment.

Sometimes the stress is too acute like a panic attack. Your heart is beating fast and you are sweating. In such situations we might not be able to think clearly. For those situations you can use a technique called โdiaphragmatic breathingโ. Itโs too complicated for me explain it in the caption here. But google it and youโll find great resources that teach you how to do it.

โจCamomile Tea - very calming especially at night before going to bed
โจChocolate - Dark chocolate is the best comfort food for me ๐
โจYogurt - Very cooling and hence the calming benefits

Since we canโt avoid all the stressors we are exposed to on a daily basis it can a very beneficial practice to find ways to release all the stress that gets built up in us unknowingly. I sometimes feel I have a stress meter and when it hits 100 I jump on whoever is next to me. ๐คฃ So devote 10-15 mins a day to stress-reducing activities like yoga and meditation at least to protect other people. ๐คฃ
