Winter Newsletter 2026 There are still spaces in many of our Learn to Swim levels.  Our distinctive 14 level program has developed over the years beginning with our Level 00 class, which is specifically designed to help children who are uncomfortable around the water and apprehensive about swimming.

NEW! NTAC is offering 5-week private lessons starting the week of Jan 12. One-on-one coaching for swimmers of all ages. Limited spots! www.ntac.ca

Is your swimmer ready for their next big step in aquatic training? Our Bronze Cross course starts next week, and it’s the perfect opportunity to keep building skills and open future pathways.

Bronze Cross is more than just the next level—it’s a stepping stone to becoming a certified lifeguard. Or, if your child isn’t sure about lifeguarding, Bronze Cross is also the required pre-requisite for our brand-new NTAC Swim Instructor course, which has a cohort starting in February. That means this certification opens two exciting options:

Lifeguard Pathway → continue through to National Lifeguard certification

Swim Instructor Pathway → qualify to teach swim lessons with NTAC starting as early as next year

Whether their goal is to work on the pool deck, teach the next generation of swimmers, or simply strengthen lifesaving skills, Bronze Cross is the key step forward.
