After suffering two back to back defeats the previous weekend, Caribbean Stars bounced back with back to back wins this weekend with resounding victories in both leagues.
The Man of the Weekend, Justin Joseph led the charge on both days picking up 11 wickets over the weekend while making valuable contributions with the bat. He was supported by the quiet star of the weekend Trushil Patel who continues his rich vein of form with the bat and ball.
Justin wrecked the Shinol batting on Sunday while defending a low total finishing with figures if 7 for 29. Some top class bowling secured victory for the team
We move onto the next with two more tough fixtures ahead this weekend.

A match winning performance once again from the prolific Mahadeo Moonasar. 'Moonie' continued where he left of from last season taking up responsibility to guide the team to an opening win over Mississauga Ramblers. A superb last wicket partnership ensured a decent target was set as Moonie made 46 and then returned with the ball to claim 4-14. He had great support with the ball as fellow left arm orthodox Raqib Shamsudeen claimed 4-18 and together dismantled the Ramblers batting line up.
Other notable performances go to Trushil Patel who came in under pressure as wickets were falling and he weathered the storm for a well made 43! Jonathan Singh batted well with the captain Moonasar to form an important 60 run partnership!

A good game all round. Batting first our innings was held up briliantly by Mario Belcon who finished on 145* as wickets fell around him. Our batsmen accumulated a decent target of 263 however this was made to look really small by some excellent hitting from Ambassadors MOTM Durand Soraine who belted our bowlers all around the ground making a blistering 171 of just 104 balls.
