Last week we had some special visitors on the mats 🥊
Giselle’s brother-in-law and his wife flew in all the way from California, and instead of sightseeing all week, they spent their mornings with us — including dragging themselves out of bed for the 6:45am class. Never thrown a kick in their life. Never done HIIT training. And they still showed up for all 3 workouts.
That first class humbled them a little (it does that to everyone 😅), but they came back. And back again. By the end of the week their combos were cleaner, their conditioning was better, and they were having an absolute blast doing it.
This is what we love about this community — people showing up for each other, setting the alarm early, trying something totally new, and pushing through the hard part together.
Thank you for spending part of your vacation getting after it with us. Come back anytime 🙌

Meet Eamon. 👊
Almost 2 years ago he walked into our gym as a motivated kid with a lot of potential. Today he’s a triple-A football player, 3rd in the city in track and field, and one of the hardest workers I’ve coached — and I mean that compared to anyone, not just his age group.
In two years of consistent training, Eamon has nearly tripled his numbers on every standard lift — squat, bench, deadlift, shoulder press. The work he’s put in is his. I just gave him the structure to build on.
That’s what a strong foundation does. It doesn’t just make you better in the gym — it makes everything else easier. The speed, the resilience, the confidence on the field. It compounds.
If you’ve got a young athlete in your life who’s ready to put in the work, this is what two years can look like.
Spots are open for the 2026 Youth Summer Strength Camp 🏋️

Some of you have heard me talk about it already.
Now it’s official.
50 Strong starts April 20.
This is for the person who knows they’ve drifted a little.
You’ve let some habits slide.
You haven’t felt like yourself in a while.
You keep saying you’ll get back on track soon.
But deep down, you know soon has to become now.
50 Strong is our 50-day challenge for people who are ready to tighten things up, build momentum, and prove to themselves they can still do hard things.
This year, there’s also a new twist.
One of the rules has changed.
And honestly, I think it might end up being one of the most important ones we’ve added yet.
If you want the details, comment “50 Strong” or send me a message and I’ll send them over.
You can also check it out through the link in our bio.
April 20 to June 8.
Let’s get to work.

🏅 Healthy Habit Olympics – Officially Complete! 🏅
We wrapped up our Closing Ceremonies on Sunday and crowned our winners… but before we get to that, let’s remember what this was really about.
This wasn’t just a competition. It was about building habits. Raising awareness. Cleaning up the small things that quietly hold us back. I think it’s safe to say our crew now knows exactly how much protein they should be eating 😅
I’m incredibly proud of everyone who committed to these 34 days. The consistency, the energy, and the accountability right to the very end was impressive. Across all 9 teams, we logged over 1,100 daily submissions. That’s serious effort.
Here are the final team standings:
🥇 Gold – Gym & Tonics (1003 points)
🥈 Silver – Rise & Grind (1002 points)
🥉 Bronze – Team SAS (993 points)
A one-point difference between first and second… that’s about as tight as it gets.
Individual award winners:
Inner Peace – Barbara
Winter Warrior – Caroline
Protein Queen – Salimah
Master Chef – Pierre
Farthest Traveller – Verena
Hardcore Finisher – Azin
Habit Builder – Wendy
Most Durable – Cali
The Torch Champion – Kelly
Community Leader – Denise
Data Master – Angelica
And for Total Points Champion… we had a SIX-WAY tie with perfect scores 🤯
Wendy, Azin, Olena, Kelly, Barb, and Denise — unreal consistency. I may need to order more trophies next year.
Thank you to everyone who participated and came out to celebrate. With this challenge behind you, you’re better equipped to carry these habits into the rest of the year.
Proud coach moment. On to the next one. 💪
