Applications for the Dan Taylor Regional Student Scholarship are now open! These scholarships will be awarded to the top qualifying male and female high school students from each of the six Swim Ontario regions who combine both swimming excellence and academic achievement. Registration for the Futures Skills Camps August 31-September 1 and September 3-4 is now open! These camps are for 9-12 year olds who are registered swimmers with Swim Ontario clubs. Welcome to our summer student, Emma Clarke! Emma is a third-year Bachelor of Kinesiology student at Dalhousie University and AUS Swimmer of the Year with five years of leadership and aquatic safety experience.

Emma started her competitive swimming career as an age group swimmer, with Lakeshore Swim Club and then Toronto Swim Club, where she also took on volunteer coaching positions.

“I am super excited to join the Swim Ontario team this summer! Through swimming, lifeguarding, and coaching, I’ve developed strong leadership and communication skills. I really enjoy working in team and community focused environments, and with this role, I feel privileged to have the opportunity to work with the organization that I grew up competing under to gain more experiences and contribute to swimming in Ontario.
