Great fun in zubies back yard yesterday! There was a bit of Sabre, a bit of foil. Zubie argued every point, whether in his favour or not. In other words, the good old days! Thanks Alex Miklos for reffing!

Metroblades remains closed because of COVID-19. We are following the Ontario Fencing Association return to play protocol and will reopen when it is safe for our members to do so. We may run a small beginner class in September (10 participants) or less if it in safe to do so.

That's actually quite impressive! This long history means that the schools of thought in fencing are deep-seeded and well thought out 🦉🤔📜. While this is an advantage in terms of the coaching fencers receive, sometimes fencers get so stuck in the Xs and Os of a bout or lesson that we neglect the bigger picture of athletic development -
A good Strength and Conditioning program has a multitude of benefits. Some of the main benefits include:
