Hey dancers! Quick little update!๐จ
So unfortunately due to the presenting COVID-19 circumstances and the restrictions put in place by the school, regarding meeting in person and use of school facilities, we will not be having any dance rehearsals or get togethers until the new year.
Our goal is to be able to meet in-person in January and to still have our year end show which we did not get to do last year.
We are also planning to have open classes starting in the new year as well! We are hoping to have them in person but, if not we will be hosting them online via zoom. If you are interested in online open classes please leave a comment! If you are interested in possibly teaching an open class please dm or email us!

If you are interested in being apart of the HDC Hip Hop group listen up!
Like previous years, there is a separate audition for hip hop.
Here are the RULES:
- submit a 30 sec to 1 min hip hop improv video of yourself! Show us what you got!
- Additionally, you can also submit a reel or any other dance videos you have of your self! (*This is not mandatory!*)
- Submit your audition video to [email protected] by Sun, October 3rd!
If you are auditioning for both jazz/contemp/etc and hip hop make sure you label which video is which style in the email submission!

Please email your video of you doing the audition combo with music (or send a private youtube link). Include 30s of improv showing your skill, style, and technique! Please include your full name, past dance experience, program and year, favourite style of dance and pronouns!

๐๐ TWO DAYS! Hereโs how everything is going to work this Tuesday!
- 12 NOON on our IG and Facebook: Both Jazz/Contemp and Hip Hop combos will be posted
- You will have until 7 PM on Friday September 11th to submit your audition videos to our email OR google drive, [email protected]
- on Sunday September 13th, seฬlection emails will be sent out! You will have until Tuesday the 15th at 12 NOON to confirm your place!
