And just like that… camp is quiet.
TOO QUIET.
To every camper, staff member, family, and alum who helped make Kayitz 2026 so special: thank you. Thank you for the hugs, the smiles, the silliness, the growth, and for filling this place with so much ruach.
Reset the clock.
It’s only 319 days until June 28.
The countdown to Kayitz 2027 starts now.
להתראות, Ramah family. We’ll be waiting.

Our campers didn’t just end the summer at Banquet... they fiesta’d like there was no mañana.
(See what we did there?)

Sweet 16 for Herzl!
Introduced in 2011, the Herzl Junior Cup Ball Hockey Tournament is celebrating its 16th summer this kayitz!
Campers from Tzirim, Nachshonim, Magshimim, and Alonim battle it out for Herzl glory every year. It’s traditionally played on Shabbat, but this year’s rain delay moved the semifinals—and gave us the rare chance to capture all the action on camera. We’d call that a win-win.

Some of our Nitzanim boys took Fruit Ninja off the screen and into real life, smashing apples (and a couple of oranges too!) in one of the funniest activities of the summer. And some counselors, a Rosh Edah, and even a photographer couldn’t resist joining the fun.
Before anyone asks... no fruit was wasted! Every piece had already passed the point of being edible, so we gave it one final, very dramatic mission.

Our Alonim campers (along with some adventurous staff!) took on one of the biggest challenges of the summer: rappelling down the side of the giant rock wall in the middle of the girls side of camp.
When we asked a nearby Nitzanim camper what this spot is called, she answered without missing a beat: “It’s Girls Paradise.”
Honestly... she’s not wrong. Although we’re wondering if a place this amazing deserves an official Ramah name. (For example, did you know that we have our very own Masada behind the bama?)
Whatever you call it, one thing is certain: these are the kinds of moments our Alonim campers will be talking about for a while! Kol hakavod to our fearless chanichot, incredible staff, and the Challenges Unlimited team.

Yesterday morning was full of hugs (and tears) as we said goodbye to our six-week campers. Then the rain rolled in and seemed determined to stick around.
Thankfully, by the evening, Alonim had the perfect cure.
Tangled. (In Hebrew, of course.)
For an hour, we laughed until our cheeks hurt, sang along, and watched our incredible campers light up the stage.
A huge kol hakavod to Rosh Edah Alisha, the entire Alonim staff, and every member of the cast and crew for giving us exactly the pick-me-up we all needed. Your creativity and hard work reminded us that even after a day of goodbyes and grey skies... at last we see the light.

A sneak peek at Tzirim Shabbat!

Omanut just got a gorgeous upgrade!
On Yom Yisrael our campers and staff all worked together — from the youngest to the oldest — on this giant mixed-media map of Israel that we are so beyond proud to display.

Yesterday was…
saying goodbye (for now!) to our incredible Shorashim campers, MagAlo Games, Tikvah Banquet, some Nitzi Air Bands, Arazim kayak polo in the agam, and mmmm Mimuna (and yes... there was plenty of sfenj )
