What a night! 🐷

Thanks to everyone who came out to our Fall 2026 New Member Info Night on Wednesday! We had a great turnout and loved getting to meet so many people interested in giving roller derby a try.

Derby 101 starts Saturday September 26!

Adult 101: Saturdays, 6-9 PM, with extra skate time Wednesdays and Fridays
Junior 101: Saturdays, 6-7:30 PM

Both programs run for 10 weeks.

Curious about roller derby? Come check it out at Hogtown Roller Derby’s 2026 info night!

The Info Session is happening Wednesday, Sept 16 from 7-9 PM at 1515 Bloor St. W.

No skating or derby experience necessary. We’re welcoming both Juniors (ages 9–17) and Adults (18+)!

We’ll get you on skates and run through some basic skills, show you what derby looks like with a live demo and tell you everything you need to know about our Fall Derby 101 program!

Don’t have gear? That’s not a problem! We’ll have a limited amount of skates and gear available to borrow AND Rollerskatin.ca will be on hand for all your derby gear needs!

Come try something new, meet great people and see what Hogtown is all about. 🐷

Hogtown Roller Derby presents Beaches Bruisefest on Saturday, August 15 at The Bubble at Ted Reeve Arena!

If you’ve never seen roller derby before, this is a day you won’t want to miss! Expect speed, hits and nonstop energy right in Toronto’s Beaches.

It’s going to be a a full day of action with SIX WFTDA-sanctioned games featuring teams from across Ontario and the US.

• Hogtown Horror - Hogtown Roller Derby (Toronto, ON)
• Striking Vikings - Renegade Derby Dames (Alliston, ON)
• Rock Villains - Free State Roller Derby (Rockville, MD)
• Erie Roller Derby (Erie, PA)

Doors open at 8:30 AM, with the first whistle at 9:00 AM.

What a Saturday! We welcomed our new friends, the Dutchland Rollers all the way from Lancaster, PA, USA. We played two fun, hard fought games. Our Debs put up a good fight in game one but the Dutchland Blitz came away with the win. In Game 2, our charter team, the Hogtown Horror held on to win in a tough match with Dutchland’s A-team.

A huge thank you to everyone from Dutchland who made the trip north. We loved having you here and hope you had as much fun as we did. Safe travels home!

And as always, thank you to our officials, referees, NSOs, volunteers and everyone who came out to cheer us on. We say it all the time but weekends like this remind us just how special the Hogtown community really is 🐷 🫶

From the first whistle of the first jam to the final whistle on day two, the Skateful Hogs left everything on the track.

We are so proud of each and every one of these skaters and can’t wait to see how much they’ve grown from the Fresh & the Furious experience when we get back to practice.

It was awesome to see Hogtown and Kingston come together to make one team this weekend. Huge thanks to Kingston Roller Derby freshies for joining forces with ours. It was such a great opportunity for these fresh skaters to come together and represent both leagues on the track as one!🩷
