Today is the last day to get your tryout applications in! Our first tryout is THIS Saturday!!! We can’t wait to see everyone at the field!

We’re still riding the good vibes of last Wednesday’s clinic! Thank you to all the participants and thank you to our coach Vikki for leading a great session! We had so much fun we’re gonna do it all again!! Mark your calendars, we’re going to be hosting a second night Wednesday April 16! A sign up link will be shared in the coming weeks.

Don’t forget, summer tryout applications are live! Even if you filled out the EOI, a formal tryout application must be filled out as well. Link is in our bio 🫶🏼

• Saturday April 26th, 4:00-6:00PM at Upper Canada College
• Friday May 2nd, 9:15-10:45PM at Crescent School

We’re thrilled to introduce Vikki! Returning to Masters Ultimate after coaching Toronto’s top junior girls to a NATIONAL TITLE, her experience and winning mentality are a game-changer for the team.

Vikki’s Career Highlights:

• Played on Toronto’s first women’s masters team Terra
• NCCP certified
• Spent many years coaching Toronto’s top juniors girls and winning a national title with them.
• Assistant coach for team Canada’s U20 Mixed team in 2024 and won Silver at the WJUC

And we’re beyond excited to welcome back the amazing Megan, aka ‘Irish’ to the coaching squad for another epic season! With her ultimate expertise and boundless energy, she’s ready to help take the team to new heights.

Irish’s Career Highlights:

• Started a Women’s team at University- still going strong 30 years later.
• Co-founded, coached, captioned and played on Toronto Women’s Sr touring team.
• High school Ultimate coach including helping to launch Girls ultimate in the TDSB
• Assisted Lore leadership (2023) and
Co-Coached Lore (2024)

This is going to be a season to remember!

They’re ready to lead with passion and drive, and this year, they’re joined by Sab taking on her first year in Leadership!

Together, our Lore Captains are ready to inspire and take this season to new heights. Let’s do this! 🙌

When playing, she’s a hybrid! Her favourite throw is an inside flick, and this season her goal was for the team to practice performance excellence and confidence.

Favourite piece of LORE? The Lion King 🦁👑

When playing, she’s a handler! Her favourite throw is an OI backhand huck and she loves watching players throw any break. Her goal this season is to empower players to have self confidence in their abilities, trust their instincts, and love the game!

Favourite piece of LORE? The Princess Bride 👸🏻🥷

She’s a cutter who has skills all over the field. Her favourite throw is a backhand huck/pull, and boy is it pretty. She’s our third captain this year and has done a great job of leading the team through the summer season.

Favourite piece of LORE? The Little Mermaid 🧜‍♀️

Meagan ‘Newms’ Newman ()

She’s a spicy handler whose favourite throw is a “hammer! Always hammer!”. Her goal for the season is to crush seed at nationals! She’s another of our fantastic captains and has led our Pod 2 crew (Pod 2 Pontoooooonnn) with energy and enthusiasm.

Her favourite piece of LORE? Not a fairy tale BUT her grandpa always told the same general story ever time she slept over, which she loved. The stories always had an underlying message of athleticism and hard work always paying off in the end. Or Jack and the bean stalk...it was always those two stories. 🫘🌱

She’s a relentless cutter whose favourite throw is a low release backhand. Her goal for the season is to beat seed at CUC. She’s also one of our captains and has done a fantastic job leading the team throughout the season!
