After 12 yrs, remaking the first set of armor that got me into reenactment——the 4 to 5th century cataphract armor excavated from Lamadong Xianbei Tomb IM5, Liaoning Province.

Late Ming era Arming Cap, made after the illustration of Wubeiyaolue (武备要略), a non-official military book written by martial master of late Ming Dynasty Chengziyi(程子颐).

Doing archery for more than 3 hours in -10 celsius.

The spring/autumn robe works OK for at least 3 hours in the cold weather. The thin hat was just there for photo taking though.

I had to wear a wool sweater underneath the thin robe. If it is a fur lined robe I could do it with just a T-shirt.
