We have been recommended by the Ministry for Cultural Affairs as one of the highest quality studios in dance instruction. The Academy has two studio locations; one in Etobicoke and the other in Mississauga. We offer classes in Ballet, Ballet Sculpt, Pointe, Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop Lyrical, Tap, Acrobatic, Salsa and Musical Theatre. We offer adult dance classes in Ballet Sculpt, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop Salsa and Tap. In 1991 we received recognition for our high standard of training from the government and became a Registered Educational Institution. Whether teaching an appreciation and love for dance, or the professional dancers and teachers of tomorrow, the Academy keeps each individual’s goals in mind. Many of our students have gone on to continue their training in dance and related studies at such other highly recognized institutions as Juilliard, Joffery School, The Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, L’Ecole Superieure De Danse Du Quebec, The National Ballet School, Ryerson University and York University, as well as several international dance companies of world class status. One of our students, Denys Drozdyuk went on to be the 2010 first place winner of "So You Think You Can Dance Canada's favourite dancer". The philosophy of the Sean Boutilier Academy of Dance has always been to offer the very best in teaching staff and facilities to our students. Our accredited teachers have years of professional experience both in dancing and in teaching recreational and competitive dance classes to students. We have some of the most prominent professional names in the dance world today teaching at our studios. This very impressive group of professionals is made complete with some of the most talented and sought-after pianists in the dance community

Black artists in dance have played a huge role in bringing the art form to where it is today. This Black History Month we are honouring a black dancer who touched the lives of so many—the late, great, Stephen "tWitch" Boss. ⁠
