The CRAO congratulates Renshi Ed Docherty for being inducted into the Whitby Sports Hall of Fame on April 30th, 2022. His passion and dedication to Chito Ryu karate is an inspiration to all. Thank you Sensei Docherty for your years of dedicated service as an instructor, coach, competitor, and friend to us all.

First Ontario Yudansha Clinic held today since the start of the pandemic (almost 2 years ago!!). Thanks to everyone who came out, and to Sensei's Bellhouse, Chong and Kovacs for leading. Great to train again in person with our Chito Ryu family. Looking forward to keeping these going monthly again!

Congratulations to the students who graded this past weekend, and all successfully passed! It is great to know we have still been able to train and prepare for yudansha gradings in spite of all of the challenges that came with the pandemic.

Higashi Sensei is pleased to announce the re-opening of the CCRKA Hombu Dojo on Friday July 16th.

All regularly scheduled classes will resume on that date with Covid-19 protocols in effect – masks and social distancing required indoors.

Higashi Sensei is looking forward to getting back to his Dojo and hopes to see or hear from you soon!
