Strong response and great momentum at the time to end the last match of 2025 with a win before our winter break.
We couldnβt repeat it in the Jan 3 rematch, but thatβs cricket. Lessons taken, heads up.
Proud of this group. Onwards, Stallions. ππ₯

Matchday 1: GTA Stallions vs Marvels-B ππ₯
The perfect start to our winter league campaign! πͺπ
A strong bowling performance set the tone as we restricted Marvels-B to 124/5 in 15 overs. Tight spells from Saurabh, Ronak, Aslam & Bhakti, and a catch-of-the-season contender from Krish! π₯π₯
Chasing 125 wasnβt easy at 38/4, needing 87 off 50 balls, but a game-changing 48-run stand between Shivam (42 off 26) and Jay flipped the momentum in our favour. Smart finishing from Krish & Urdip sealed a composed win with 8 balls to spare! ππ
Big welcome to our debutants Parth, Vaibhav & Rutvik. Great first outing with the Stallions family! π
A solid all-round team effort to kick off the season. Tougher opponents ahead, but the Stallions are here to compete and to win. πππ₯

π₯ SEMI-FINALS BOUND! π₯
Our GTA Stallions A (Division 1) boys put on a stellar show last week, beating Surti Strikers by 11 runs to secure a place in the semi-finals vs Toronto Metro Cricket Club.
With the bat, Harpreet (21*), Haroon (19) and Arslan (19) played key knocks to help us reach 122 in 20 overs. π
Defending that total, our bowlers rose to the occasion:
π― Chamkaur Sidhu β 4 overs, 12/3 (MOTM π)
π― Atul Rana β 4 overs, 21/3
π― Vishal Kumar β 4 overs, 18/2
π― Adeel Ahmed β 4 overs, 21/1
Backed by brilliant fielding, the squad showed grit and composure to hold their nerves and seal the win. π
While our Division 3 team (Stallions B) missed out on a semi-final spot after a thrilling quarter-final against Starks CC, both squads have shown the spirit and passion that make Stallions proud. ππͺ
On to the semis! Letβs go, Stallions! π₯π₯

One of our most convincing wins of the season πͺπ
In Match 6 of VPCL, we bowled first after losing the toss against Ghaznavi Greens and put in a brilliant team performance, restricting them to 119 all out in 19.4 overs.
π₯ 3 sharp run outs (Bhakti, Nishant, Ankit)
π₯ Safe hands in the field: 2 great catches by Bhakti, 1 each by Ankit & Nainesh
π₯ Wickets shared by Aslam, Ankit, Jay, Ronak & Rutvik, with Nainesh the most economical
Chasing 120, we showed composure and class:
β¨ 68-run opening stand (Nainesh & Nishant)
β¨ Followed by a 53-run stand (Nishant & Parth)
β¨ Finished at 121/1 in 17.1 overs: a 9-wicket win with 17 balls to spare!
β Nishant was the star of the day with a superb 65* (57 balls).
Our final league game was unfortunately forfeited by Canadian Stallions, leaving the boys disappointed as everyone wanted to play and fight for another win.
That brings our VPCL journey to a close β finishing 5th on the table with 3 wins in 7 games in such a tough and competitive league. A fantastic effort, proud of the squad, and grateful for the experience at a great new ground in Vaughan ππ
Onwards and upwards! π

Playoffs secured! ππ₯
Stallions A sealed a spot in the Top 6 in MCL Division 1 with a solid win over Team Gladiators Canada. Proud of this one. After watching our Division 3 team miss it by so little, this feels extra sweet.
Batting first, after losing two quick wickets, Haroon (26) and Malik (29) steadied the ship with a solid stand, followed by Urdipβs crucial 25. A late push from Ankit (21*) down the order helped us reach a fighting total of 149/9 in 22 overs. πͺ
Defending wasnβt easy, but the Stallions showed true grit. Wickets shared across Adeel, Chamkaur, Ankit & Atul, while Vishal and Fezan kept the pressure on with tight spells. Add in some sharp fielding, and we wrapped up an 18-run win to punch our ticket to the playoffs! π
Time to settle the score with in the play offs match after our league clash π
Division 1 knockout stage, here we come. Letβs keep the Stallions spirit charging forward πβ‘
