CFL Fans in Toronto

This weekend I'm walking 65km to Hamilton to raise money for CancerCare Manitoba--this year's CFL Fans Fight Cancer benefitting registered charity.

is a grassroots initiative started by fans during Ron Lancaster's diagnosis in 2006. Last year fans from across the CFL raised over $75k--and this year we hope to break the $100k mark! With your help, the walk, initiated by Connor Sauve last year, will be one effort of many that help us reach our goal! Looking forward to walking with Connor RJ Sauve, Rick Boccaccio, Nick Small for the full walk, and having others join us for a portion--or to watch WPG@SSK on Sunday at Joe Dogs Gas Bar Burlington! Come on out!

This year I'm walking for my uncle Bob--currently undergoing cancer treatment--and my father-in-law, Yossi, who has battled four types of cancer over the last decade. I'm also remembering: my dear friend Barbara who passed seven years ago this week at age 33 😢 my beloved aunts Jo and Marilyn ❤️ my paternal grandmother, Helen 🙏 and countless others who have suffered--directly or indirectly--from a cancer diagnosis.

100% of your donation goes directly to CancerCare Manitoba (and they issue donation receipts immediately). Please donate through the link/QR-code below this week or anytime until mid-November and help us stick it to cancer!
