On October 21, let’s celebrate Child Care Worker and Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day, a time to honour the caring, creative, and dedicated educators who make every day brighter for children and families.

Our Health & Fitness centres will be open from 8 am to 4 pm on Monday, October 12.

Stop by for a quick workout, make a splash in the pool, or spend some active time together as a family.

Check your local Y’s schedule for available programs and activities. We hope to see you!

Please note that child care centres and employment centres will be closed.

What a day in Mississauga! 🙌 Nearly 4,000 people registered for our job fair on September 25, which brought together job seekers, more than 40 employers, and community partners. We were also pleased to welcome Hon. John Zerucelli, MP for Etobicoke North and Canada’s Secretary of State for Labour.

A big thank you to all the employers, community partners, and job seekers who joined us and helped make the day a success. Together, we’re creating connections and helping people take their next steps toward employment.

🎉 Third YMCA Charity 5K a success, thanks to you!

What an amazing day we had at our third YMCA Charity 5K! Thank you for joining us at Downsview Park to run, walk, celebrate, volunteer, and raise funds to send more kids to camp. We couldn’t have done it without you!

So far, we’ve raised $380,000, making it possible to send more than 1,000 kids to a YMCA camp for a magical experience. We’re so grateful for your participation and efforts to date in helping raise these much-needed funds.

But we’re not done yet!
