May 18th is International Museum Day, created in 1977 to raise awareness about the vital role of museums in society. At St. George’s, we honour our history on the walls of our History Hall and by incorporating archival treasures of the past into modern-day club life. This museum-quality Indo-Persian battle helmet dates back an estimated 300 years. It now serves as our Men’s Two-Day Invitational trophy. Thank you to member Rick Murray for his patience and dedication to preserving and maintaining our archive collection for future generations of St. George’s members to enjoy.

Congrats to our 2020 Club Champions! The three day competition ended Sunday evening with Andrea taking home her 20th Home Smith title, making good on a promise she made to her dad as a little girl. Craig shot 210 (3-under par) for 54 holes which is the lowest score ever in club history, and he is the first club champion ever to finish the tournament under par! Congrats Champs!

Hope this awesome photo of the 18th finishing hole brightens up your drab Monday. Thanks for walking with us. Hole 18, Par 4, Yards 465
Originally a par five, the 18th hole was converted into a long four to make a more challenging finish for the Canadian Open. The hole plays uphill all the way to a very steep green surrounded by bunkers and back dropped by the spectacular clubhouse across the road.
