Introducing the winners of the prestigious Presidents Cup at ELBC

On May 29 ELBC had a fabulous turnout of 75 of our members to enjoy our first Pizza 'n Play of the season. It was a beautiful evening and everyone went away very full. For those of you who couldn't make it, don't worry we have another Pizza 'n Play coming up on June 19. Register now on the website. You won't want to miss it.

On May 23 we held our Opening Day celebration. Regretfully, we were unable to bowl due to the rain but 80 of our members came out to celebrate and enjoy a lovely lunch provided by Envision Wealth Management. Mike Russell, our President regaled us with his humour and informative presentation. Congratulations to Jody Leavoy for being nominated as Volunteer of the Year and to Simon carter who won over $200 in our 50-50 draw. Angel Dargel won the gift basket in the sponsors draw. Thanks to all who showed up on this cold, wet and blustery day.

ELBC was excited to welcome more than 150 people to our Open Houses on May 2&3. Many thanks to all those attended we hope you enjoyed the event and had some FUN. Even more exciting was that 100 people signed up for our free lesson program. We are confident many of them will join the club as a new member. Thanks to our volunteers too!

ELBC is proud to announce that we are the recipient of a grant from The ParticipACTION Community Challenge presented by Novo
Nordisk. The grant will be put to good use by acquiring smaller bowls for our more challenged seniors. The grant is partially funded by the Government of Canada. Thank you.
