Hey everyone!! We will be having a S-IMEW (Student-Industry Mineral Exploration Workshop) info session on Nov 2nd, Thursday at 5 pm. for those who are planning to apply or are curious about what it is. Overall, taking place in Sudbury, Ontario, SIMEW is a 2-week immersive mineral exploration workshop for geoscience students from across Canada. Students will learn about the local geology in and around the Sudbury basin through interactive workshops, talks, and a 4-day field trip. The info session will be given by S-IMEW alumni Kathryn Cheng and Krishana from PDAC will also join us.

The department deadline to apply is Nov 24th. So, send your application package to Scott ([email protected]) by then!!

UESA, WIM, and MinClub are working together to host MINdustry Night, a networking event for students in earth sciences, mineral engineering, environmental sciences, and geography. Two keynote speakers and a variety of industry professionals will join us for an evening of networking!
