ZFF – Zurich Film Festival 07/17/2026

Long Shot: A Filipino Curling Tale, the documentary chronicling the remarkable journey of the Philippine Men's Curling Team, will make its world premiere at the Zurich Film Festival (ZFF).

Since its founding in 2005, the Zurich Film Festival has become one of Europe's premier film festivals, showcasing outstanding films and documentaries from around the world and serving as a platform for emerging filmmakers, acclaimed directors, and international cinema.

This premiere is more than a celebration of a documentary; it is a celebration of Philippine curling and everyone who helped make this journey possible: curlers, coaches, volunteers, supporters, partners, and the entire Curling Pilipinas family.

Congratulations to director Daniel, executive producer Alan Frei, the production team, and everyone who brought this incredible story to life. We are proud to see Philippine curling featured on one of the world's respected film festival stages.

The 22nd Zurich Film Festival will take place from September 24to October 4, 2026

🥌🇵🇭 Curling Pilipinas’ Junior Mixed Doubles team of Arianna Atienza (18) and Elijah Monaco (15) was recently featured by an Alberta-based Filipino Journal in Canada. They met at the rink alongside their coach and proudly represented the Philippines at the World Junior Championships, finishing 21st overall. 🌎👏

Both Arianna and Elijah continue to train hard with their respective clubs as they prepare for the 2026–27 season. 💪🥌 Their dedication, passion, and commitment to the sport are inspiring examples for the next generation of Filipino curlers. ⭐

The future is bright, and it promises to be an exciting season ahead for all of our teams! 🚀🇵🇭 Keep working hard, keep believing, and continue making the Philippines proud. Mabuhay! ❤️💙💛
