The nonsense is so clear.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Grandmaster Sunny Tang, “Si Gong.”

Si Gong’s impact reached far beyond those he taught directly. He was instrumental in bringing greater visibility to Wing Chun, dedicating decades to teaching, developing and sharing the art, and helping establish its presence in Canada and around the world.

As my brother Roy’s Sifu, Si Gong fundamentally changed the way Roy understood martial arts, opening his mind to a deeper and broader understanding of Wing Chun and what the art was capable of. That understanding would shape Roy’s relationship with the art for the rest of his life and, in turn, much of what has been passed on at Centreline.

That kind of influence travels. From teacher to student, and then from one generation to the next, ideas continue to develop and find new expression. Si Gong’s legacy lives not only through those he taught, but through the many practitioners and teachers who continue to carry his influence forward.

We are deeply grateful for his contribution to Wing Chun and for the role he played in our own journey.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family, his students, and the entire Sunny Tang Wing Chun community.

Rest in peace, Si Gong.

Today, I share the news that over the weekend, my brother, mentor, and sifu, Roy Domingues, passed away peacefully in his sleep.

Over these past hours, our family has been comforted by the many phone calls and messages sharing how much Roy was loved and how many lives he touched over the years.

Roy was a lifelong student of human potential. He had a way of helping people see more in themselves. He encouraged others, supported their goals, and helped them believe in what they were capable of. My family is so comforted to know that Roy was regarded as exceptional by so many, just as we saw him.

I will be posting funeral service arrangements soon. Please share this post with anyone who knew Roy.

If you have any questions, please feel free to DM me or email me at [email protected].

My condolences to all who are feeling this loss.

Wing Chun HIIT | Strike & Sweat
First class is free. $20 after

Saturday, February 14 to 28, 2026
9:00 – 10:15 a.m. EST

Wing Chun HIIT: Strike & Sweat combines Wing Chun movements with interval training for a full-body workout. You’ll train Wing Chun stance, footwork, structure, and striking combinations to build cardio, coordination, balance, and core strength—no experience required.

Each session runs in timed rounds: warm-up + mobility, technique-based combo work, HIIT conditioning blocks, and short recovery resets. Expect real Wing Chun training elements like centerline-focused movement, rapid hand combinations, and footwork patterns, coached for clean mechanics and speed rather than brute force. You’ll get plenty of legs and core from stance work, quick direction changes, and repeated bursts that keep your heart rate up.

You’ll also do coached, controlled partner drills to develop timing, distance, and reflexes. These partner drills are not sparring: they’re structured patterns with light, respectful contact and clear safety cues.

Come ready to sweat, move, and sharpen your reactions in a focused, no-ego environment. All fitness levels welcome.

DM us to register.
