joined members at the CUPE Ontario Injured Workers & Health and Safety Conference to talk about the fight for safer workplaces and stronger protections.

From workplace violence and heat stress to occupational disease and mental health, we organize together to defend health and dignity on the job and to make sure every worker gets home safe at the end of the day.

What a fantastic start and finish at our Women United: Women Power Work Stories in Action Conference last week, organized by the Ontario Women's History Network and the OFL and sponsored by the Society of United Professionals. We kicked the conference off with Women Power Work: Then, Now, Next: A ‘Kitchen Table’ Conversation with Peggy Nash and Laura Spencer Walton on 50 years of women changing the labour movement. The conversation was an electric, deeply engaging teaching and learning moment.

The Canadian Labour Congress - Congrès du travail du Canada , OFL and Toronto & York Region Labour Council joined workers across the province in sounding the alarm against Carney’s attack on the Right to Strike through Bill C39.
Nothing workers currently have has been given freely by the boss or the governments. Together across the Private, Public and Trades sectors - we will fight to protect the rights of workers today and tomorrow.

October 1st, the OFL and Ontario Network of Injured Workers' Groups came together for our conference « Rise up for Injured and Ill Workers ».
Drawing on the lived experience of workers injured or made ill on the job as well as subject matter experts, our program provided information on key issues around claims suppression and occupational disease.
It was amazing to come together and strategize actions to advocate for workers and demand better for all.
