Just us hanging with Ralph Macchio and hearing stories about Sosai from the writer, producer and created of the Karate Kid movies and universe Robert Mark Kamen at the opening gala of Karate Kid the Musical. It was a very entertaining show, I recommend it to all students, members and friends. Thanks to Shihan Gorai for the recommendation!

Bad stance work has nowhere to hide out here.

On a solid floor, weak footwork can pass — the floor does some of the work for you. On sand, it can't. One wrong shift and you're down before you register why. What's left standing is balance that comes from the center of the body, not from stable ground underneath it. That's the part of training most people skip. Out here, you can't.
