When you keep showing up, even when it feels soooooo hard, the right people will notice.

I have been working really hard on the thing in my business that I know will have the biggest impact on the most kids…enrichment programs in daycares, early learning centres and schools.

This has been one of my big goals this year and I can gratefully say I am starting to see the results of the work.

The more sessions I deliver, the more I anchor into the fact that this is where I am supposed to be.

Working with kids.

Bringing joyful movement to the place where they learn, grow and thrive.

Seeing their faces light up when I bring out the pom poms!

It’s these moments that keep pushing me forward and encourage me to keep showing up.

My WHY

I recently applied for the High Five Grant™ for Moms for momspreneurs. As part of the application, I was asked to share my WHY so I thought it was a wonderful opportunity to share the story behind the heart of Kinisi Kids.

Connection.

My son being born in 2023 was the catalyst for me to finally start the business I had put on the back burner for almost a decade.

Becoming a mom drastically changed how I wanted my life and my work to look. I wanted to continue sharing my love of dance and movement while also being present for my son in these precious early years.

I have been an elite competitive and professional dancer my whole life and have over 25 years of teaching and mentorship experience. It was a difficult decision to step away from studio life and knew I wasn’t ready to let go of something I am so passionate about.

I was also craving connection.

As a new mom, I wanted a supportive space where I could meet other moms, move my body, bring my son and feel like myself again.

A space with no pressure, no judgment and no expectation to have it all together.

So I created it.

Today, Kinisi Kids creates spaces where parents, caregivers and educators connect with their little ones. Where children can express themselves creatively, build confidence and most importantly, discover the joy of movement from a young age.

Because movement is about so much more than physical development.

It’s about connection. To ourselves, our children, our community.

That’s my why. That’s Kinisi Kids.

So a big HIGH FIVE to all you other moms out there, raising babies, building businesses and creating the life of your dreams.

Do you love working with young children and believe that movement, music and play are essential to early learning? Then we want to hear from you!

Kinisi Kids is looking for an Early Years Dance Instructor to join our growing team and bring energy, creativity and joy to our programs across Toronto & Peel Region.

We’re looking for someone who is:
✨ Energetic, enthusiastic & engaging
✨ Confident leading groups of young children
✨ Passionate about early childhood development
✨ Creative, playful & comfortable thinking on their feet
✨ Experienced working with toddlers, preschoolers & SAK
✨ ECE experience or certification is an asset

🚗 A car is an asset as our classes use fun props such as hula hoops, pom poms and other movement equipment

What you’ll teach:
🕺 After-school early years dance & creative movement programs
🎈 Energetic, interactive dance-based birthday parties
