It's time for the Club Championships!

Sign-up is now open and will close on September 1. Please visit "Adult Programs" to register.

Singles: 1-hour pro set (first to 10 games within the hour, or whoever is ahead at time). Semi-finals and finals will be full best-of-3 set matches.

Doubles: Best 2 of 3 sets, with a super tie-break played in place of a 3rd set. When registering for doubles, please include your partner's name in the notes section.

Balls: Players are responsible for providing their own balls.

Matches will be scheduled close together to ensure the tournament is completed in a timely manner, so please make sure you are available before signing up.

We look forward to some great tennis and a fun tournament atmosphere!

Good luck to Alvin Tudorica as he competes in the qualifying rounds for the National Bank Open (Rogers Cup) today around 2& #8239;p.m.

As a local player who grew up at OHTC, spending some younger days here with family and members, Alvin has become an inspiration to many in our community. We've all been following his journey closely and are excited to cheer him on today and in the future.

We're excited to announce a new 8-week House League session running from July 30 to September 17.

The program will be listed under "Adult Programs" on Jegy.

There will be two divisions:

A Division: For players rated 3.0 and above
B Division: For players rated 2.0 to 3.0
Please place yourself in the appropriate division. Coaches reserve the right to reassign players if needed to ensure balanced matchups.

Fee: $65

Also, a quick note on court etiquette:
When opening a new can of balls, please make sure to place the metal cap in the garbage. We've noticed quite a few left on the courts recently-they can be sharp and pose a risk, especially with our summer camps underway.

As always, please be respectful and clean up after yourself. Let's all do our part to keep the courts safe and tidy.

Hello Members,

We're excited to start a trial for a Friday night adult drop-in from 7:00 to 10:00 pm.

There's clearly interest in making this a regular fixture - we even heard talk of a petition going around! With that kind of enthusiasm, we're happy to give it a go.

While we considered adding a sign-up option on Jegy, that would add an extra layer of work we're hoping to avoid. The goal is to keep things simple and flexible for everyone.

If attendance slows down and the courts aren't staying active, we'll return to the previous system of online booking, which had been working well.

Please be cognizant of members waiting and rotate players in when courts are full - it helps ensure everyone gets a chance to play and keeps the evening running smoothly.

Let's keep Friday nights lively and welcoming!

RacquetGuys will be at O'Connor Hills Tennis Club tonight from 6:30 to 8:30 PM to install a FREE Wilson Pro Overgrip on the racquet of the first 100 OHTC members. Limit of 1 overgrip per member.
