The Metro Toronto Wildcats Football Club is looking for players for its Atom (8-10) team, Peewee (11-12) team and Bantam (13-14) team to start play the weekend of August 29th. Entering our 19th season, we play 8 games in the Ontario Varsity Fall Football League against teams from Southern Ontario. Equipment is provided, we practice twice per week and play on weekends. Our game and practice fields are at Esther Shiner Stadium and side field at Bathurst St and Finch Ave in Toronto. We have a trainer at every practice and game. In the last three years we have won at each level, peewee in summer of 2013, bantam in fall of 2013 and atom this past summer 2015. Atom: 9-10

MTW NEEDS 11-12 YR OLD PEEWEE TACKLE PLAYERS!!!

As we enter the very promising 2015 Peewee Campaign we are down to 22 players. Now I'm an old Lawrence Park Football coach so Im used to low numbers like this but that is a 5 game high school season and the OMFL is an 8 game season. If the numbers don't change every week we will be walking the line to be able to field a team reasonably expected to compete. We have been through this before and we will rectify the situation but you our current mtw family will play a role in that.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!
We have until June 5 to add players. What we need you to do is help us recruit by going through your family and friends networks to see if there are any 11-12 yr olds wanting to join the team. As an executive we understand the situation and are willing to relax our fee requirements to get players in the door so financial situations won't be an obstacle!
In the meantime the MTW executive will be working our own methods to try to bring in players.
So lets do this! Lets get 6!
