I got into disc golf by accident, during the pandemic in 2021 and played my first tournament in 2022. By 2023, I was sponsored by Prodigy and was the Ontario provincial MJ10 champion. In 2024, Innova started sponsoring me, and I made the semi-finals at the PDGA Junior World Championships in my first year playing MJ12 (as a 10-year old). I hope to be a professional disc golfer one day, representing lefties! PDGA #196930

For distance and precision, Innova Discs Thunderbird is the disc for the job. I needed both off the tee on Hole 18 at Otonabee so I could get into position for my upshot over the fence and make up some ground on this uphill hole. Birdie!

Did you see this line? That’s one of the advantages of being a lefty! After the first round, I looked back from the basket and realized there was a spike hyzer line from the tee. My Innova Discs Nate Sexton Firebird was the perfect disc for the job. Birdie!

Even without OB on either side, I decided to position my Innova Discs Duo Destroyer drive about 350’ down the fairway for a shorter upshot. My Mako3 gave me the straight shot with hyzer finish for a make-able 20’ putt for eagle. It was great to get this eagle during the Ontario Jr Championship! I took the W in MJ18

Today, I took first place in MJ18 as a 12-year old 🥇! I’m now a 4-time Ontario Junior Provincial Champion, winning back to back Ws since 2023.

This will probably be the final provincial junior tournament I’ll compete in so it’s a bittersweet end to an era. While I’ve made incredible progress in the last 4 years, I know I’m just getting started 💪

Had 2 chances for eagle and it just want meant to be! Tree hit off the tee and chain out on the putt so had to settle for birdie. Looking forward to being back on this course tomorrow for the Ontario Junior Championship! I’m playing MJ18 as a 12 yr old 😅

There’s a new throwing putter in my bag, and my Innova Discs Invader had to make room for it 😏 I really liked my Invader but prefer the feel of the Sync in my hand. Sometimes that’s reason enough. Try it!
