I got into disc golf by accident, during the pandemic in 2021 and played my first tournament in 2022. By 2023, I was sponsored by Prodigy and was the Ontario provincial MJ10 champion. In 2024, Innova started sponsoring me, and I made the semi-finals at the PDGA Junior World Championships in my first year playing MJ12 (as a 10-year old). I hope to be a professional disc golfer one day, representing lefties! PDGA #196930

Scotland, land of the other kind of golf! 🥏⛓️ I played 3 courses while on vacation and can confirm it is a legit disc golf destination!

We rode a chairlift up Glencoe Mountain to try the UK’s highest elevation disc golf course. What a view! Glencoe Mountain

In , we played Torvean Park (where deer ran across the fairway!) and Castle Heather Park, both with thoughtful layouts and some of the most scenic holes I’ve ever played.

On our way back to Edinburgh, we stopped in Fife FDGC and played the new Riverside Park which had both open and wooded holes. Beautifully maintained!

I’m blown away by the growing disc golf scene in Scotland and so happy I packed my discs! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

…I might have come back from Scotland with a revived love for golf! 😂 Here’s my ace (close enough, grass had overgrown the holes) at my hotel’s pitch & putt! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⛳️

Fun fact: I learned to play golf before disc golf and absolutely loved it. The pandemic shut down the courses and along with it, my game. That’s when I traded golf for disc golf. Do you think I should pick up golf again?

How to birdie Hole 14 from the longs at Eastview, a 498’ par 4: Giant flex off the tee with my Innova Discs Champion Destroyer for maximum control to land on my target: middle of the fairway with the basket in view 🎯. Soft chip up with my Invader for a safe tap in birdie putt!
