We did it! Centre Ring has won the top spot for personal training in the Toronto Star readers choice awards for 2025! A massive thank you to everyone that voted, and have supported us throughout the years. We couldn’t have done it without you guys, we are blessed to have the best clients in the city!

Having a hard time getting out of that winter funk? One of the most common problems people have after the holidays is getting back on the bag.
1. Don’t over do it! When you come in for your first class after some time off just focus on hitting light and keeping your hands up, take small steps. You want to be aiming for about 50-65 % of your power.
2. Stay consistent. Stick to the same training time for boxing every week. Make it a non-negotiable “you time”. After 2-3 weeks you can start adding on more training days as you heat up again!
3. Don’t neglect your joints! Build some shoulder and back endurance through drills, stretching, physio if necessary.
4. Don’t beat yourself up! Missed a session, over ate? Don’t implode, get back to the drawing board and keep it rolling 🥊

Every year we try to fill our ring up with as much food as possible. We’re very proud to be a boxing gym that has an amazing community that isn’t shy to rally around a good cause. Many families are in need. Let's come together and make a difference this holiday season! All proceeds will be donated to the Daily Bread Food Bank.

Another class of graduates from our youth program are off to university 🎓! These boys trained hard day in and day out. We’re sad to see them go, but they will always have a home . We’re all so proud of you. Congrats gentlemen!!
