WHAT IS THE AUDITION PROCESS?

RDC auditions will consist of a group stretch, across the floor (various jumps and turns), centre work, and choreography. We will teach you two different sets of choreography in jazz and lyrical. In the end, we'll have an improv session, giving you the opportunity to showcase your best/favourite style of dance. You do not have to have any choreography prepared in advance. Do not worry if jazz and lyrical are not your strongest styles, the improv session will be your time to shine!

WHAT DO I BRING?

Appropriate dance shoes/attire that you feel comfortable dancing in, and a water bottle. If you plan on showcasing a different style of dance in the end such as pointe or tap, please bring those shoes as well.

OVERALL ADVICE?

Arrive early, so you have enough time to fill out your audition form before getting started. We will be starting at 5pm sharp. Finally, just remember to smile and have fun!
