New Adult Learn to Sail Course: 💨⛵Breathwork for Sailors💨⛵
High pressure situations on the water demand clear thinking, fast decisions, and a steady nervous system. This three-week course gives you practical breathing tools to perform better when it counts — and recover faster when it's over.
Led by Toronto-based breathwork facilitator and sailor Jeyda Deyna, each session is built around the specific demands of sailing — whether you're racing, cruising, or just trying to feel more in control at the dock. Jeyda brings firsthand experience in keelboats and dinghies, international-level racing, and five years of professional breathwork facilitation. She knows both worlds, and this course reflects that.
Sessions draw on breathwork, nervous system regulation, and visualization, and may include grounding exercises, guided breathing patterns, light movement, and restorative practices. No experience necessary — the tools are immediately usable, on and off the water. This course runs over 3 weeks with skill building, applications, and refinement built over each session.
Monday evenings | 7:00–8:15 pm
June 8 — Breathwork Techniques
June 15 — Breathwork Applications
June 22 — Breathwork Integration
Your registration fee covers your participation in all three sessions. $110 per person, with maximum class of 20 people.

Can Sail 1/2
Looking for a fun, confidence-building activity for the kids in your life this summer? ⛵️
Our Basic Sailing Program is a great next step for new sailors (or those with a little experience). Using RS Zests, RS Fevas and similar boats, sailors build solid fundamentals — from parts of the boat and points of sail to on-water skills like steering, crewing, and seamanship.
With a strong focus on safety, fun, and hands-on learning, participants also practice capsize recovery — so yes, they’ll get wet and love it. 💦
A fantastic way to grow skills, confidence, and a love of being on the water at ABYC.

Hurray to another successful launch at the ABYC ⛵☀️
There’s something special about the start of the season. It’s the excitement of getting back on the water, the first sail after a long winter, and all the little moments that remind us why we love being out on the lake.
Sailing has a way of making you stop and appreciate the views around you. Sometimes it’s the big moments, and sometimes it’s the simple ones you don’t notice until you’re out there again.
What’s your favourite view while sailing?
🌊 The water stretching endlessly around you
☁️ Dramatic skies, clouds, and sunsets
⛵ Sails catching the wind
🏙️ The Toronto skyline from the water
📸 Selfies with friends and crew
No matter what it is, there’s always something about being out on the water that makes the start of sailing season feel worth the wait.
