📣 What an end to the 2021-22 season for our U17 boys, earning a medal around their neck after a hard fought bronze medal game in Div 2 🥉

🦅 It was a long grind for this group for the past 10 months. We finished with an overall record of 16-11, going 3-1 at the Ontario Cup (Div 2) and now 2-1 at the CYBL Showdown, only losing to the eventual champions (NK) 🏆

🏀 One of the best compliments a Coach can get is when opposing coaches comment on how hard your kids play and how they never give up. Was a pleasure to hear that throughout this season 🙏

👏🏻 Big thanks to our players and Coach Tony and Coach Aaron for your support and commitment to this program and this group of fine young men 🙌

🏀 It was a different year than past seasons for obvious reasons. We want to thank all the parents and athletes, young and a little older, for putting their trust in us to run a program during uncertain times. We couldn’t do it without you 🙏.

🦅 We hope the players learned about basketball and a little about life in the process. Looking forward to a full season of programs for the 2022-23 season🥇🥈🥉

🚨 The U17 girls had their best season yet. The squad started the season in Division 3 and quickly moved up the ranks. The girls lost a heartbreaker in the OBA Division 1 gold medal game, falling 38-34 in an incredibly exciting and hard fought game against the Valhalla Vikings of Sarnia. This is a historic accomplishment as no team in the Club’s existence has EVER finished the season this high in the overall standings 🪙

🏆🦅🏀 The team finished with an overall record of 21-5 and established themselves as one of the best U17 girls’ basketball programs in the province, sporting a record of 7-4 against the top division OBLX teams during the 2021-22 season 🏆🦅🏀

📈 The girls are aiming to keep the momentum going next season, with their sights fully set on an OBLX medal and playing for a provincial championship! ✍️

📣 Banner season! BIG congrats to our U13 boys who went 4-0 at this weekends Ontario Cup, capturing 🥇in Division 6 and bringing home our first banner‼️ Historic and let’s continue to build. Shout out to Coach Dan and Coach Mike for steering the 🚢 through an unpredictable season 🙏. 🏆🦅🏀

🥈Great effort and competition for these young men this wknd winning silver @ Mumba tourney. Ran into a really solid team in the championship game and had a couple bounces that didn’t go our way. We will learn and grow from this experience and no doubt get better. Keep working young fellas, sky’s the limit. 🏆🦅🏀

🚨 Last call for U11 & U12 Boys Rep teams 🚨 We are about to get our season underway but before we do we have our final rep tryouts! 🏀

Our U11 tryouts (boys born in 2009, 2010 or 2011) are being held from 6:15-7:30 pm followed by the U12 boys (2008) from 7:30-9 pm at Ourland Community Centre!

Tryouts are FREE, just register online and come on out. 🏆🦅🏀

🏀 ~Our tryouts are still open for the U11 (2009-2011) and U12 (2008) teams for the 2019-2020 season. Each team offers a unique blend of weekly Jr. NBA skills training in the fall and Club house league in the winter along with 1rep team practice per week with sanctioned OBA games on specific weekends. Check out each program and we especially encourage players to attend the U12 tryouts as we will be selecting our final team shortly~ 🦅
