✨Meet the teacher✨
Hi 👋 I’m Sian
I’m a registered Irish dance teacher with An Chomhdhail and I’m so excited to be starting classes here in Toronto.
I danced competitively for almost 20 years, from local feiseanna to competing at major championships- with highlights including placing in the top 6 at the World Championships. The things I cherish most from those years are the friendships I made, the discipline it instilled in me, and the lifelong passion for dance it gave me.
💚 Why do I love teaching:
Teaching combines everything I love about dance- the chance to inspire, to challenge, and to see students enjoy themselves while learning new skills. It’s about celebrating the small wins, from a first skip-2-3 to nailing a stage performance, and most importantly, sharing in the smiles along the way.
💚 What to expect at class:
A fun and inclusive environment where kids and adults can build skills, make friends, and experience the fitness and energy of Irish dance.
💚 Favourite dance:
Slip Jig✨
No matter the goal, from first steps to the big stage, I can’t wait to help each dancer on their journey☘️
