This page will be deleted as it was hacked (back in Nov 2023) and despite our efforts to restore, it is compromised.

We regret to inform you that Lindsey Partridge's Facebook profile has recently fallen victim to a hacking incident. As a result, access to her Lindsey Partridge page and the associated Facebook groups for our online courses, including the Students of HH group, has been compromised.
Unfortunately, this means that all live videos scheduled in the Facebook groups for our online courses are temporarily on hold until Lindsey can regain access. However, due to the severity of the situation, there is uncertainty as to whether we will be able to recover the disabled account.
We understand the impact this may have on the community, and we are actively working to resolve the issue. We kindly ask for your patience and understanding during this challenging time.
If any of you have experienced a similar situation or have insights on how to directly contact Facebook/Meta for support, we would greatly appreciate your guidance. Lindsey's profile was compromised after clicking on a seemingly legitimate link in a message, granting the hacker unauthorized access. The hacker promptly changed the email, password, and phone number associated with the account, rendering Lindsey unable to regain control.
Please note that the suggested method by Facebook to reclaim hacked accounts is ineffective in this case, as the account is currently disabled and not searchable.
We are committed to resolving this matter promptly, and your support means the world to us. If you are part of our online course groups, we encourage you to share this information within the community, as we are unable to choose a winner for this month's challenge in the Students of HH group and cannot proceed with our regular live videos until the situation is rectified.
Thank you for your understanding, and we will keep you updated on any developments.
PS for some reason one of the other admins on this HH page still has "partial access" so we are able to make this post.

Ever witnessed the heart-wrenching scenario where a horse and their human seem to be speaking entirely different languages? Picture this: a magnificent horse, eyes filled with confusion, unsure of the tasks being asked, and a human desperately trying to communicate but missing the mark.
π A Tale of Miscommunication:
Meet Max, a spirited horse with a heart as vast as the prairie. His human, Sarah, had the best intentions but struggled to connect. Max, often swishing his tail, became fidgety, and progress was like an elusive dream. The more Sarah tried, the more tension filled the air, leaving both frustrated.
Why? The missing link was Feel and Timing - the magical keys to unlock the horse's hidden language.
π‘ The Missing Keys:
π« Confused Tasks: Max didn't understand what Sarah was asking, leading to varied responses.
π’ Upset Signals: Tail-swishing and pawing became Max's way of expressing discontent.
β© Rushing Through Tasks: Max tried to hurry through, leaving Sarah puzzled.
π° Tension Rising: The once-fluid movements turned rigid, risking injuries and unsoundness.
β Horses Saying "No": Progress halted as Max put the brakes on.
Now, imagine a different scenario. What if Sarah had the tools to decode Max's signals, understand his language, and build a connection that goes beyond words?
π Your Invitation to Transformation:
Our exclusive Feel & Timing Mastery Webinar with Lindsey Partridge is your golden ticket to bridge the communication gap and create a profound bond with your horse. Learn from an international champion, ask burning questions, and gain hands-on skills to transform your horsemanship journey.

Training Tip Tuesday
Drive Versus Draw
Motion towards a horse creates drive and motion away from a horse creates draw.
This means that when you move towards your horse you are likely to drive them away (make them move away), versus if you walk backwards away from them you can create Draw (make your horse want to come towards you).
You can learn more about drive and draw along with how to teach your horse to want to be with you in the Become the Centre of Your Horse's Universe Course here: https://harmonyhorsemanshipacademy.org/p/bcoyhusale

Training Tip Tuesday
When many people hear the word positive reinforcement they automatically assume that means feeding your horse a treat. Although using treats or cookies is a very effective method for training it is not the only form of positive reinforcement! You can use touch such as scratching your horseβs favourite spot or a yes word to represent a job well done. Itβs important you choose the positive reinforcement technique that works best of you and your horse.
If youβd like to learn more about how to use positive reinforcement techniques, the Create a YES Horse mini course offers amazing insight to this training technique: https://harmonyhorsemanshipacademy.org/p/createayeshorsediscount

A rainbow is beautiful, and takes both rain and sunshine to make it.
As equestrians, we are not merely riders; we are dreamers and chasers of rainbows. We understand that the journey is a symphony of highs and lows, a perpetual cycle of rain and sunshine. Through muddy trails and sunlit arenas, we discover the magic in the mundane, the poetry in partnership, and the kaleidoscopic beauty in the amalgamation of rain and sunshine.
So, let the hoofbeats echo, the raindrops fall, and the sunbeams dance. For in the world of horses, where rainbows are born, every ride is a stroke on the canvas of life, painting a story that transcends the ordinary and embraces the extraordinary.

Training Tip Tuesday
Walking raised poles is a great exercise as the height of the poles will encourage your horse to lift their back, use their core, and build symmetry in their legs.
How to do it:
Set 3 or 4 poles 3ft apart, and spaced 12-18 inches high. You can make more narrow/shorter for shorter horses/ponies or wider for extra tall horses. Make sure to walk over the poles from both directions with you alternating sides of your horse. Aim for just 1 step between each pole so your horse uses their body effectively.
You can find this exercises and over 30 more in the new Balanced Horse & Rider course that includes both mounted and in hand exercises to improve the overall balance and harmony of horse & rider:

Training Tip Tuesday
If your horse is feeling anxious you can use postures of relaxation to help encourage them to feel more relaxed. One of these postures is asking your horse to lower their head, ensuring you keep slack in the lead rope so they donβt feel trapped. If they lift their head, just gently ask them to lower it again. After repeating a couple of times watch for signs of relaxation including blowing air through the nostrils or licking and chewing.

Happy Birthday to founder Lindsey Partridge π ()
We love β€οΈ this comment that was made on one of Lindsey's posts celebrating her birthday, wishing her well from the horse show accident (another competitor spooked her new learning mustang horse, the saddle slipped on a corner while going fast, and Lindsey ended up with a fractured skull and multiple hemorrhages despite wearing a helmet), and celebrated how Harmony Horsemanship has helped them this year π
