This week's rehearsal break treat was a scrumptious tiramisu by our Jessny! Why??? 'Cuz Jessny is amazing and made it for us so we could sing a special to our dainty and stunning miss "I got you": our one and only Kanako-san! The words can't describe the gratitude we all feel towards you, Kanako! Thank you for always being prepared. Thank you for stepping in any second to help out in class, rehearsal and even to cover for someone (last minute) ON STAGE numerous times! Thank you for memorizing choreographies in a flash, for sketching transitions for us, for being an impeccable teacher and a wonderful friend, and for having limitless desire and ability for growth and development! Your unwavering support and high standards for everything push us to new heights every year, so thank you!!! We ALL love and adore you!!!

In the midst of intense preparation for the we had a delightful break for Sumit's birthday at rehearsal last week! Special thanks to our gorgeous baker Jessny who made this giant delicious Nanaimo inspired cake, which we devoured in 2 seconds, and for making Sumit's birthday extra special! 👩🏾‍🍳🎂

Dearest Sumit, thank you for inviting all of us to be a part of your beautiful family, for throwing generous BBQ parties at your place, for treating us with delicious food and wine and for being such a big support to all of us over the years! Million thanks for sharing your big heart, your infectious laughter and your enormous passion for dance, music, food and travel with us! We look forward to a proper celebration and more incredible memories with you! 🎂👨‍👩‍👧‍👧❤️😍🙏🍾🥂🕺🏽🎉

It has been a real torture not being able to post this on time due to impossibility of downtime for the past few weeks... Very belated but a very heartfelt happy birthday to our gorgeous salsa sister for over 6 years, wonderful friend and an outstanding teacher Farrah! You have always played a tremendous role at BASo Canada, wearing different hats, staying well balanced through ups and downs, and being a huge support and inspiration to all of us. Thank you so much for your hard work, consistency, dedication, passion, kindness, humour and beauty! Wishing you all the best in the coming year and many more joyful memories! This is waaaay overdue, and please know WE ALL LOVE YOU!
