YU Quidditch Club
We are a quidditch team at York University. We play both competitively and recreationally! Quidditch is a co-ed, full-contact sport (based on the game from J.K.
Rowling’s Harry Potter series) that has elements of rugby, dodgeball, and flag football. All players are mounted on brooms at all times: the result is a challenging and entertaining fast-paced game played by hundreds of teams all over the world! All set up and ready to go! Come out to our first practice on the soccer field just behind the York stadium. Feel free to message us for directions
Brooms Up!
We are very excited to announce that our first practice will be this Wednesday! It will take place at the practice soccer field at 3:00pm -5:00pm. For anyone that does not know where that is, it is directly beside the York Lions stadium.
We apologize for the slow start but from here on out we will be having regular practice on Mondays and Wednesdays. A time for Monday will be sent out later this week. If you can make both days that is great, however if you can only come to one that is alright.
We can't wait to see everyone this week and hope that you all learn to love the sport as much as we do. No equipment is needed. Just wear running shoes and bring lots of water.
