Hi, I’m Tallyson Neves — a certified personal trainer, online fitness coach, and nutrition expert based in Toronto, Canada.

With over 10 years of experience, I’ve helped hundreds of clients burn fat, build muscle, and achieve lasting transformations through science-backed training and personalized nutrition plans. My fitness journey began as I overcame eating disorders and bullying, eventually discovering powerlifting, Olympic weightlifting, and competitive bodybuilding. These experiences fueled my passion for strength

Fabio came to me with one goal: lose weight and make weight for an upcoming jiu-jitsu competition. Building muscle wasn’t the priority. The focus was dropping body fat while maintaining strength, endurance, and performance so he could compete in the weight class he was aiming for.

Halfway through the process, he suffered an injury during jiu-jitsu, and our plan changed. Since competing was no longer the immediate goal, we shifted our focus toward building a leaner, more muscular physique—basically, looking good naked.

As his physique started changing, so did his mindset. The more progress he saw, the more motivated and curious he became about bodybuilding. At the beginning, he didn’t care much about building muscle or aesthetics, but once the results started showing, he became fully invested in the process. It’s something I see happen all the time.

We adjusted his training, nutrition, and recovery to match the new objective, and the results speak for themselves.

My clients goal was simple: to look the best he ever had for his 50th birthday. He already had a solid foundation, so the focus wasn’t starting from scratch—it was refining every aspect of his plan.

When I first met him, he was undereating and doing more cardio than he needed. Instead of immediately putting him into a fat-loss phase, we spent the first four weeks increasing his food intake to fill out his physique, improve training performance, and build momentum. We then used the remaining eight weeks to gradually cut body fat while maintaining muscle.

I also completely restructured his training. He had been relying on high-rep pump work without much focus on progressive overload. We shifted to a progression-based program that emphasized weaker muscle groups while reducing volume on areas that were already overdeveloped, like his triceps, creating a more balanced physique.

Nutrition was one of his strengths. Miguel was already a clean eater and accustomed to eating similar meals every day, so we simply adjusted portions and meal timing rather than overhauling his diet.

Over the 12 weeks, we gradually increased his cardio to one hour per day and made sure he consistently hit over 10,000 steps daily.

Most importantly, he stayed consistent. He trusted the process, never missed a beat, and earned the results he was after.

Now that he’s done the diet, he’ll now enter into a rebound phase.

Second round of dieting complete. The first time, we took him from 207 lbs down to 168 lbs. This time, after finishing his offseason at 194 lbs, we brought him down to 174 lbs—6 lbs heavier than last prep and significantly leaner. Bigger physique, better conditioning, and a clear improvement from the last cut.
