Nutrition doesn’t have to be complicated. And it definitely doesn’t have to be boring.

You don’t need a long recipe to eat well...convenience and nutrition can exist together. You just need a little intention (and some flavour...don't skimp on the flavour!).

This is one of my go-to combos lately: bagged coleslaw mix, a quick honey dijon + horseradish sauce, topped with everything bagel seasoning and crispy onions.

Crunchy. Flavorful. Done in minutes. And happy, not sad!

Refire your meals by making them work for your life, not the other way around. šŸ”„

Everything doesn't have to be a big life change. Getting healthier and active can be simple and start small. Doing more of what you actually like can be the best place to start!

I'm doing quick overnight camping in my SUV. There’s no full reset. No overhaul. It’s been smaller than that.

It's sleeping by the water instead of staying in.
Getting outside when I can.
Moving a bit without needing it to be a full workout.
Having coffee somewhere that slows things down.

Nothing about it looks extreme. But it’s changed how my days feel. Less rushed. Less stuck. More like I’m actually in my life instead of just getting through it.

That’s what I want Refire Life to mean and I hope it's resonating for you!

We don't need a complete reinvention...
Just better ways to spend a day. ā˜®ļø

This is fitness too. It exists outside of a gym. It can be outside.

Started slow with water views by my campsite.. No rush, no plan, just being out there for a bit.

Got on the water, paddled, and explored. Nothing structured, nothing perfect… just movement.

Ended the day by the fire, tired in that quiet, good kind of way.

May not have looked like a workout. No metrics were tracked. Didn't sweat or get out of breath. But I was outside, I was moving most of the day, and I felt better at the end of it.

We can take fitness and movement outside of four walls. You can explore and live, while moving your body in ways that are good for your physical health and then times better for your mental health! doesn’t have to look like a workout to be one. ā¤ļø

What movement will you do this weekend? Make it a part of life!

I turned 44 yesterday. Gratefully.

I went for a run, not because I had to, just because I can. And I don’t take that for granted ever.

Went for a motorcycle ride to the beach, sat there for a while with a cold drink and a book. No rush, just a pause in the middle of the day.

Had a good meal with family.

And then sat and watched my daughter graduate high school… which honestly felt like the biggest moment of all.

Couldn't have asked for a better way to turn 44. Movement. Quiet. Family. Milestones.

That's Refire Life ā¤ļø

Walk with me for a minute.

No pace to keep. No goal to hit. Just a pause.

We forget we’re allowed to do this… to step out of whatever the day is doing and just exist for a bit without trying to turn it into something.

If your head’s been busy, or the day feels like a lot… this is your reminder you can take a minute.

You don’t need a reason.

Just come outside and pause for a bit.

I have no idea what I’m doing out there 🤣. Zero technique. Taking breaks. But I go anyway.

Because this isn’t about being good at it. It’s about getting outside, moving my body, trying something new… even if I’m kind of fumbling my way through it.

So this is your reminder that you don’t need to be good at something to go do it.

You can be slow.
You can be unsure.
You can stop a hundred times.

You can still enjoy it. You can still benefit from it. You can still be the kind of person who does it.

That’s where I’m at right now.Not a pro… just someone out here trying things and figuring it out as I go.

What are you going to try?

Some days....🤣🤣

I took these on a walk the other day. And it made me realize how little I actually pause like that.

I have been intentionally trying to pause more throughout my day to notice more. Notice things I might normally just pass by.Ā

Not scrolling. Not thinking about the next thing. Just being where I am for a minute.

We talk a lot about doing more for our health. Move more. Eat better. Be consistent. More. More. More. 😓

But we don’t talk enough about pause.
Pausing to rest instead of pushing through.
Pausing to think instead of reacting.
Pausing long enough to actually notice where you are.

Sometimes the most helpful thing you can do for your body and your mind… is nothing.

Just sit. Breathe. Look around for a minute instead of rushing to the next thing.

It sounds small, but most people never actually do it. If your days feel a bit full lately, don’t add anything new just pause once or twice on purpose and see what shifts.

06/17/2026

A small shift that’s added way more movement into my life…I stopped waiting for a workout to move. Now I just use the in-between moments. Anytime there’s a pause in my day, I move a bit.

- Take a 10 minute break walking outside
- Stand when on the phone or doing some admin work
- Pace around or stretch if waiting for coffee to brew, laundry etc...

I think we overlook how many of these little pockets exist in a day because we’ve convinced ourselves movement has to be a full, separate thing. It doesn’t!.

You don’t need more time… you just need to stop skipping the time that’s already there.

Try it today: Just notice your pause and move a bit instead of standing still.

I’m not really a runner. I just run sometimes.🤣

It’s never fast. It’s never that smooth, effortless thing you see online. It’s usually a mix of running, slowing down, walking for a bit if I have too, then running again.

I used to think that meant it didn’t really count. Like if I wasn’t ā€œa runner,ā€ then I probably shouldn’t bother trying to run. But I dropped that way of thinking, because for frig sakes, movement is movement and what does it matter?!

Now it’s just something I do to move my body, get outside, clear my head a bit. Some days it feels good, some days it doesn’t, but I always feel a bit better after I’ve done it in some form.

I think we make things too black and white sometimes. Like you either are something or you’re not. A runner, a lifter, someone who has it together.

But most of life isn’t like that.

Most of it is just showing up a bit imperfectly and doing what you can with the day you’re in.

So yeah… I’m still not a runner.
I just run sometimes. šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø
And my body still counts it and more importantly so does my mental health!
