Hello all,
What a long and interesting time it has been! The wall has been closed now for quite a while, but efforts are underway to bring the community back home.
I (Matthew) am currently in the process of handing the reins of this site over to The new Climbing Wall Manager as I am no longer at the RECC, so stay tuned for information on theRECC.ca and hopefully here too once we get administrative permissions sorted out.
The wall is still currently closed, so direct all inquiries to the RECC website until further notice. Thanks to everyone who swings by here after all this time, and I hope you all will be climbing together again soon.

In accordance with provincial guidelines, the RECC will be closed effective immediately until further notice. This includes the Kohltech. We will update you at the soonest opportunity.

Hello all! Long time no see!
A quick note on where we find ourselves at the Kohltech in these uncertain times:
Currently the Kohltech’s schedule remains unchanged hours-wise. We are currently suspending all group exercise classes (climbfit) and day camps until further notice, in accordance with the RECC’s policy issued today.
Please pay close attention to the website schedule, as further changes may occur rapidly.
The wall remains open to walk in visits at this time. Stay informed and healthy!

Whew! All that white stuff out there means that we will be closing for the day today. Stay safe out in the snow gang!

Hello all, We've got a schedule changes over the holidays:
This Saturday the 7th, we will be opening at 3pm due to Christmas at the RECC! Santa got us to put on a later Community Climb (3-7pm) to make up for it however.
Tuesday December 24th we will be opening early to get a bit of climbing in before the RECC closes for Holiday. Come on in for a rare morning climb 9am-1pm.
December 25-26 The Kohltech will be closed.
Regular hours will return Dec 27-28th,
December 29th we open a tiny bit late at 1230 due to a private booking.
December 30th we will be open early with a Holiday Community climb from 1230-330pm and then open until 9pm
On New Years Eve the Town of Truro will be holiding their annual Open Wall Climbing from 1130-130pm Come on in and enjoy Community Climbing for free! It'll be a very busy event but a good one if you've got some friends who have never tried the wall before.
New Years Day the wall will be closed, opening on the 2nd for usual hours.
Come check us out over the holiday season!

Hello all, the Kohltech will be holding a Take the Lead Course on Thursday night, the 14th from 6-10pm. You can check out the details at https://ratheastlinkcommunitycentre.ca/programs/adult-fitness.
