Thank you to our platinum sponsor : Mount Pleasant Nursery School 🏫 Pat and Vincent Roberts have been long time supporters of the Truro Centurion Swim Club (TCSC)… but their involvement in the aquatics world began before the club was formed in 1977. Vincent was an active sports enthusiast.  He was a swimmer and also a coach. Mr. Roberts has held positions such as Aquatics Director (NB) and when he was on the local Truro town council was an advocate for the pool. Pat jokes that she was married into the swim family as she came from out west and although she knew how to swim, it was her husband that encouraged the swimming as a great form of activity for their very active kids. The Roberts have had three kids (Chris, Matt and Andrea) swim with the TCSC and successfully complete at provincial and national levels. In fact, their kids continue to maintain TCSC records on the books. Today, the Roberts TCSC legacy continues to grow with their daughter Andrea (Roberts) Burris on deck coaching and she and her husband Colin have three kids Isabella, Jewel and Finnley (Pat and Vincent’s grandkids) swimming and competing hard in the pool. “We may be giving to the club but I’m thanking them for helping to raise my kids and grandkids.
