⛳ Course and Royalite Grill Update ⛳

Please be advised that due to incoming weather and conditions, the golf course, driving range, and Royalite Grill will be CLOSED on Saturday and Sunday.

The Pro Shop will remain open from 9am to 4pm, and while we hope to golf Monday, the decision will be made sometime on Saturday. Thanks for a great season!

Fresh off a visit to Tangier, Morocco, this edition of TVGC Travels shows a recent visit from member Ron MacKinnon.

Taken at The Tangier Fortifications Interpretation Center near the historic Borj Dar El Baroud tower in Tangier, the site has permanent exhibits of defensive buildings and military artillery as well as old maps, photos, scaled models - including large historic seaside cannons!

Teaching locals and visitors about Tangier’s strategic naval history and medieval defence architecture, this spot is a must stop if ever visiting Morocco.

: Leaf Rule for Fall Golf

Known as Rule 16.1 or "Accumulation of Loose Impediments", yes, there is a Fall rule known as the "Leaf Rule".

Reading as "any ground with temporary accumulations of loose impediments (like leaves or acorns) in the general area or bunker is treated as ground under repair from which free relief is allowed".

So, if you're certain your ball is in bounds but can't be found, as long as you take less than 3 minutes (lost ball rule) - you can take a shot from the nearest point of relief.

It may also be important to note, yes, you can move leaves, however, if your ball is there and moves while doing so - it's a one-stroke penalty.
While you also do get relief from Fall maintenance projects, you do not get relief from aeration holes!
