It's my birthday and I just turned 46! I'm officially in my late 40s, how did that happen? I still feel like a kid, watching P*e Wee's Playhouse and In Living Color, and dreaming of becoming Sarah Connor or a Paleontologist when I grow up.
Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes, and private messages wishing me well in my professional upskilling. This is an exciting year. British Columbia is finalizing the process to recognize Counselling Psychology as a regulated health profession. So I decided to go back to school to finish some credentials to allow my health, lifestyle and career counselling clients pay for my services with their health insurance.

I have a secret life where I work as a Career Counsellor in my day job, so this education will lend itself to that. But my weight loss warriors, and healthy lifestyle clients will benefit too. I especially enjoy helping people with chronic illnesses navigate physical transformations. I have personal experience with chronic illness, thus I plan to leave a legacy of solutions for this population's struggles.
