Hello Uxbridge figure skaters. Are you looking for a way to continue your training over the summer? Many of our skaters have attended this summer camp in beautiful Muskoka, some of whom have continued on as counsellors and directors for the camp. It is a wonderful, enriching experience and we highly recommend it! Read on for further information.

Winning Techniques Camp is a Figure Skating Camp specifically designed for STARSkate and CanSkate skaters, combining high-quality on-ice instruction with an engaging summer camp experience. Our goal is to help young skaters build strong fundamentals, confidence, and a love for the sport - all in a fun, supportive environment.

Our program includes:
• Daily on-ice training focused on skills, edges, and development
• Off-ice activities to improve coordination, strength, and confidence
• Fun camp experiences, including group activities and social events
• A positive, inclusive atmosphere where skaters can meet others with similar interests

What makes our camp unique:
Unlike most summer skating camps that focus mainly on training, our program offers an overnight camp experience, allowing skaters to fully immerse themselves in both skating and classic summer camp activities. Skaters not only develop on the ice, but also build independence, friendships, and confidence through shared experiences off the ice—creating a more well-rounded and memorable camp experience.

⛸️ It’s hard to believe, but our 2025/2026 skating season has officially come to an end!

Our final Pre CanSkate, CanSkate, Teen & Adult CanSkate sessions wrapped up this past weekend, and last week marked the final STARSkate and CanSkate Plus sessions of the season.

We want to thank all of our skaters and families for being part of such a fun and memorable year at the Uxbridge Skating Club. It has been wonderful to watch so many skaters grow in confidence, develop new skills, build friendships, and create great memories on the ice! ✨👏⛸️
