Things are happening! 🤘
We are very excited to say that construction of the new snowmobile access trail into Chappell Creek is officially underway, and it’s looking great!
This is one of two major access projects VARDA is taking on this summer to help protect and secure long-term access to two of our most important riding areas. These are big projects for our organization, and seeing equipment on the ground at Chappell is a pretty rewarding milestone.
A huge thank you to our partners at the Ministry of Forests, Recreation Sites and Trails BC, Simpcw First Nation, Columbia Basin Trust and British Columbia Snowmobile Federation - BCSF. Projects like this take a lot of cooperation, planning and persistence, and we appreciate everyone who has helped get us to this point.
Just as importantly, thank you to our riders, members and supporting Partners. Your support gives VARDA the ability to take on projects like this and protect the riding opportunities we all value.
THIS is where your dollars go. Into trails. Into access. Into infrastructure. And into making sure Valemount continues to be a place we can all come to ride.
If your business wants to be part of that work, our 2026/27 Partnership Drive is underway until September 4. We offer some great marketing benefits and other perks, but more importantly, your investment goes directly toward supporting recreation and the economy built around it.
Come be part of the team. 🤘Please reach out to us at [email protected] to request a copy of this years Partnership Package or just to start a discussion.
Have a rad rest of your day!

BC Wants to Grow Outdoor Recreation. So Why Are We Removing Access? | British Columbia Snowmobile Federation
At Rady Creek, BC's ambitions for outdoor tourism and recreation are colliding with the way it manages resource roads - and exposing a policy gap that could affect backcountry access across the province.

The trails, access and recreation experiences we all value take investment. Become a VARDA Partner and help us keep building, protecting and improving outdoor recreation in Valemount.
Your business doesn’t need to be in Valemount to have a connection here. If your staff, clients or customers recreate in our region, a VARDA Partnership is a great way to support the places they enjoy while putting your business in front of thousands of recreation users each year.

Building recreation doesn't happen by accident.
Every trail maintained, bridge repaired, sign installed, and project completed is made possible through the support of businesses and individuals who believe in the future of recreation in the Valemount area.
Our new VARDA Partnership Program is your opportunity to be part of that future.
If you've been considering becoming a Partner or renewing your support, we'd love to hear from you. Early commitments help us plan ahead and spend more time delivering projects and less time chasing paperwork.
Current Partners can simply reply to their email with RENEW, and we'll take care of the rest and if you are a new sign on just complete the info sheet and we will take it from there.
As a reminder, all Partnerships confirmed and paid by August 20 will receive double the day passes included with their chosen partnership level.
Thank you to everyone investing in recreation. We truly believe it is the future of the valley.
